Ugyen is a young teacher in Bhutan who wants to relocate to Australia. However, his boss sends him to Lunana, the most remote school in the world, saying he hasn¡¯t completed his contracted service. The journey to get there is so tough that it seems he has no comfort whatsoever on the way. When he finally manages to arrive in the village, people welcome him heartily, but this westernized young man feels only unsatisfied as all he finds is just one classroom with nothing prepared. The film concentrates on portraying how Ugyen lives in Lunana as seasons change, rather than on what an urbanite feels in a remote area. Then it leads the viewer to watch where Ugyen eventually heads. (HAN Song-yi)
