Lorenzo MATTOTTI
Lorenzo Mattotti is a world-renowned illustrator who received the Eisner Award, one of the most honorable prizes given to graphic novelists. This Italian artist presents a wide range of art including fine arts, fashion and animation. The Bears' Famous Invasion, in particular, is the first feature animation that he directed as by himself and shows his rich and unique colors and patterns. Particularly interesting is the narrative form, which is divided into two parts: the first half portrays a small travelling troupe which happens to meet a bear in a cave and tells a story to it while the second half shows the bear another story that is not known to humans.
