Sarah Outen, a British explorer, has traversed Europe, Asia, the Pacific Ocean, North America and the Atlantic in kayak, cycle and boat from 2011 to 2015. It was about a 20,000-mile-long route for her to come back to Tower Bridge in London where her home is. Her challenge and achievement, which move us deeply, are meaningful for a female explorer. Even on the harsh way of her journey, she feels warm inside from the kindhearted support of a lot of people all over the world fascinated by her adventurous and delightful spirit. But she sometimes is discouraged by solitude and fear in the enigmatic, grand nature. (JANG Bo-young)
