In an isolated mountain village in Macedonia, 50-some year old Hatidze lives with her dog Jackie, cats, and old mother. The honeybee are her friends and partners at work. When a couple and their 7 children move in next door with 150 cows, her life is turned upside down. The greed that tagged along the neighbors demands higher goals, more production, and more work, like a runaway engine that devastates everything in its path. The film is a brilliant satire of simple naturalism and materialistic mass production. This film was first premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, and received the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize:Documentary, and Best Documentary Award at the Doc Aviv & Doc Barcelona. (Jinna LEE)
