When liliales colchicums growing wild along the mountainous areas of the Black Sea coast bloom, villagers leave the mountains to avoid the harsh winter. 80-year old Hasan Atalay invests all his time and energy to make a room in the cabin on the mountain edge for his critically ill son Ahmet. Finally the room is finished and the news that Ahmet will soon arrive has the inexpressive Hasan to toss and turn in his sleep. However, he receives unexpected news, and colchicums start to bloom.
