Set in a remote farm far from the village, Pauline and Alex work hard at sustaining a self-sufficient life. They decide to install a wind power generator for electricity at the farm, but Samuel, who is hired to stay at the farm for the installation, ends up shaking up their lives. The main plot deals with the desire and growth of a woman who falls into a passionate relationship, but in fact, the film’s background is filled with various things that seriously question a specific value and philosophy. Although it isn’t fair to claim that a particular group’s defiance against a capitalist production system is wrong, the film does raise the dilemma regarding an extremist value that blocks communication and chooses isolation.
