Dina KHREINO
Some people are inclined to risk their lives, climbing towering mountains and walls in unknown places. They are mountaineers who go out of their way, seeking more challenging paths such as Reinhold Messner, Conrad Anker, David Lama, Tommy Caldwell, Adam Ondra and Lynn Hill. The extensive selection of the best existing climbers itself makes this documentary more than worth watching. It isn¡¯t just a typical collection of Q&As from legendary mountaineers, but truthful accounts from the heart. It is moving to hear their testimonies about how they have learned to live through climbing. (Billy CHOI)
Dina KHREINODina KHREINO
Dina Khreino¡¯s focus is on stories that transcend border, race, and class. Her mixed cultural background gave her unique access to understand people and highlight narratives, which would otherwise be marginalized. Not a climber herself, Dina was drawn to the people of the mountain because of their iron will, and their universal respect for life paired with uncommon bravery.
