On December 2017, 6 North Face-sponsored climbers (Jimmy Chin, Conrad Anker, Savannah Cummins, Anna Pfaff, Alex Honnold and Cedar Wright) set off on an expedition to the Antarctic Queen Maud Land. Their goal was to climb as many peaks on the Wolf’s Jaw group of mountains - famed for its perilous mountains protruding from the ice cap - by creating smaller 2-3 person teams who had to endure the deadly cold as they continued their journey. Especially the Honnold and Wright team paved 13 new routes which Honnold, recognized as the ‘world’s most fearless man’, constantly exclaimed as “the scariest I have ever led!” (GWAK Jeong-hye)
