A special night of Slovenian film and music! We invite you to ""The Night of Julian Alps: SLOVENIA," — with congratulatory remarks by the Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Slovenia in Seoul and distinguished guests, an introduction of the Slovenian directors, and Good Luck, Kekec — newly restored to mark the 120th anniversary of Slovenian cinema — with a live performance by pianist Bowrain, evoking the spirit of the Julian Alps.
After the screening, Bowrain, beloved for its delicate piano melodies and profound musical depth, presents a piano performance brimming with emotion and artistic charm at the Night of Julian alps - SLOVENIA, where nature and film come together. Through this special performance uniting film and music, come meet Guest Country Slovenia up close.

Good Luck, Kekec

In this sequel to the beloved Kekec, the young hero and his friend Rožle meet Pehta, the mythological mountain hag — proof that looks can deceive. Though Pehta scorns the villagers' superstitions and guards the cure for Mojca's blindness, Kekec's cheeky charm wins her over, and she reveals how to use the magic herbal drops. He follows them, Mojca regains her sight, and the tale rekindles the mischief and courage of youth.

Jinna Lee

Jinna Lee is a programmer at Ulsan Ulju Mountain Film Festival (UMFF) since 2018. She finished the film studies PhD. Course at Hanyang University. Before joining UMFF, since 2005, she has worked at Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF), Jaechun International Music and Film Festival (JIMFF), DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (DMZ Docs), Busan International Short Film Festival(BISFF) and International Intangible Heritage Film Festival(IIFF). She has been served jury works at film festivals in Indonesia, Argentina, Taiwan, Nepal, Italy and Korea.

Bowrain

Bowrain (born Tine Grgurevič) is a Slovenian pianist, composer, and singer-songwriter whose music uniquely fuses jazz, ambient, and electronic styles. His compositions are distinguished by intricate piano melodies, imaginative electronic soundscapes, and atmospheric arrangements, creating an engaging and immersive experience, particularly in his live performances. Educated in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Philadelphia, Bowrain has made a significant impact on the Slovenian music scene over the past decade through his albums and live performances. He has performed across Europe, the United States (Philadelphia), and Johannesburg, South Africa, where he collaborated with the Johannesburg-based performance art ensemble The Brother Moves On. As part of this collaboration, he also performed at London's Church of Sound alongside musician Shabaka Hutchings.

In 2023, Bowrain was an artist-in-residence at the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia, concluding his residency with a solo concert. In September 2024, he released his album 「Million Homes」, which premiered at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana in a concert featuring 18 musicians on stage. This was followed by the Million Homes solo tour in China, with performances in Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou, and Sanya in February 2025. His most notable performances include DDC Beijing (CN), Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai (CN), Sofar Sounds London (UK), Symphony Hall Stage Birmingham (UK), Arvo Pärt Centre, Laulasmaa (EE), Tallinn Music Week (EE), The Orbit, Johannesburg (ZA), Palác Akropolis, Prague (CZ), Kühlhaus Berlin (DE), the Venice Art Biennale (IT), Ljubljana Jazz Festival (SI), and Gallus Hall, Ljubljana (SI), among many others.

Bowrain is currently an artist-in-residence at the Swatch Peace Art Hotel in Shanghai, China, where he will be based from July to October 2026.
