JASON'S BOX: Planting Trees Where the Ice Melts

Melting silently, the glacier - and the story of the people who stand before it.

In southern Greenland, where glaciers are rapidly melting away, the film JASON'S BOX follows the moment when a glaciologist meets local residents and volunteers. Together, they bring science and tree planting into one shared act of resistance against climate change. Beginning in a distant land of ice, this story ultimately places before us the question, "What can I do?" Where the story on screen ends, the journey of thought that follows that question begins.

After the screening, together with Professor Lee Myong-in of UNIST, we will take time to quietly consider the possibility of everyday practice rather than grand slogans, and explore, with the audience, the one step each of us can take for the environment.

Now he believes that all the collected facts aren‘t enough to raise people‘s awareness of global warming. He decides to take action himself.
