In Our Sunset

So-yeon, a university senior approaching graduation, returns to her hometown after a long time due to an issue related to moving. At her mother Sang-eun’s suggestion, So-yeon goes to her grandmother Chun-hee’s house in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, to receive homemade kimchi, where she encounters a pregnant cow raised by Chun-hee. 

As my siblings and I became university students and began leaving home one by one, I suddenly thought of my mother, who would be left alone in the now-empty house. And then I thought of my mother’s mother.
