In the heart of the mountains of North Macedonia, surrounded by a flock of six hundred sheep guarded by imposing Charplanina dogs, stands a shelter. Children's laughter echoes from the precarious shelter. They are a group of shepherd siblings, aged eight to twenty. When they are not working, they play and ponder the meaning of life. Is their future really here?
This film addresses issues of family tradition, adolescence, childhood innocence, and the harshness of rural work.
