The Monk and the Gun
In 2006, Bhutan becomes the last country to connect to the internet and television, embracing modernization and democracy. To teach the people how to vote, the authorities organize a mock election, but the locals seem unconvinced. Traveling to rural Bhutan, the election supervisor discovers that a monk is planning a mysterious ceremony for the election day.

With The Monk and the Gun, the audience will see that many of the rural characters in the story, who are driven and motivated by innocence, are highlighted even more when we contrast the story between the rural and urban.
