The ecosystem and natural environments in mountain ranges are exceptionally vulnerable to external disturbances and environmental changes. In the era of climate change, accelerated devastation is affecting mountains across the world. In this forum, organized by the Korea Research Council for Mountain Studies, an international panel of experts are invited to share observations of environmental issues from the mountains of East Asia, the Himalayas, and the Alps, among others, and consider possible solutions.
