PROGRAM
Whoopy Band is a jazz trio featuring vocals/piano, contrabass, and drums, performing an unplugged set with acoustic instruments.
The set features jazz standards that almost everyone will recognize, Korean pop songs arranged in jazz style, and original compositions by Whoopy Band. Rooted in a calm, warm repertoire suited to the autumn mood, the performance highlights the close interplay between instruments while focusing on creating a seamless flow from one piece to the next.
Stepping away from conventional stage settings, Whoopy Band plays jazz in harmony with the natural landscape of Ulju-gun, sharing the sense of nature and rest that the mountain film festival stands for through music.

Whoopy Band is a jazz trio consisting of vocals/piano, contrabass, and drums.
Since its formation in 2021, the band has performed a diverse repertoire spanning jazz standards, jazz arrangements of popular songs, and original compositions, crafting live sets that suit each space and audience through spontaneous interplay and natural chemistry between the performers.
In 2021, the band was selected as a 'Notable Indie Rookie' by Naver VIBE, and was chosen for the Mapo Cultural Foundation's Indie Discovery program in 2025. The band continues on its active career with the release of the EP 「Time Table」 and numerous singles.
