Studio Gamtanho presents Egg ALAN, a participatory street puppet theater performance co-created with the audience under the theme of 'a community born together.'
"An egg cannot hatch on its own. It involves a perfect timing of pecking from within and without for a new life to be born."
Egg ALAN is inspired by the Korean egg-birth myth Jultak Dongi, depicting the moment of birth completed together by performers and audience. Three Egg ALANs wandering the city in search of a lost nest join forces with the audience to build a new nest, and finally welcome the moment of hatching.
The nonverbal performance is a participatory interactive street theater that is open to everyone — from children to adults. Join the extraordinary moment when new life is born alongside the Egg ALANs!
