MORE-IN

MORE-IN

PROGRAM

Haengbok Pungnyū is a performance that channels the breath of nature flowing between mountains and wind, sky and people, into music. Through a blend of traditional folk songs and contemporary sensibility, it invites audiences to share the rest, comfort, and everyday happiness that nature offers.

Rooted in the nature-embracing spirit of Gyeonggi folk songs, the performance weaves together familiar melodies and lively rhythms, creating a stage that everyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy with ease. With music that sings of nature, it creates a moment to set aside the pace of daily life and absorb the mood of the season.

A performance completed through breath and exchange with the audience, it unfolds a special moment of sharing the joy of pungnyū and connecting hearts. Come and experience the ease and emotion that culture and the arts offer, alongside the values of mountain, nature, and human that the Ulsan Ulju Mountain Film Festival embodies.

MORE-IN

MORE-IN is a creative Korean traditional music group composed of Gyeonggi minyo (traditional folk vocal), haegeum, gayageum, keyboard, and percussion, with every member performing as both an instrumentalist and vocalist.

The group received the Silver Prize at the 18th 21st Century Korean Music Project, earning recognition for both artistic merit and popularity. True to their name — MORE-IN, meaning 'to fall deeper in' — they strive to create a stage where not only the performers but also the audience can naturally immerse themselves in the music.

Through performances that balance tradition and popularity and prioritize genuine communication with the audience, MORE-IN continues to forge its own distinctive sound by exploring new possibilities in Korean music.
