The film shows us the repetitive yet unique rhythm of a cycle that repeats itself every year, revealing the behind-the-scenes of a world that is often invisible, yet crucial to making everything work.

Paolo Vinati was born in Brescia, Italy, in 1967. A graduate of DAMS (Department of Music and Performing Arts) in Bologna, he has conducted extensive research on traditional oral music and has also made ethnographic and anthropological films.
