Panel Talk 1: Keeper of the Himalayas-Elizabeth Hawley

After Keeper of the Mountains, a documentary film about Elizabeth Hawley, who passed away early this year at the age of 94 and received condolences from mountaineers of the world, is screened, Heo Yeong-ho, who met Mrs. Hawley when she was alive, Kwak Jeong-hye, a female mountaineer, and other people in the climbing industry will have a conversation about interviews with her and the importance of climbing recording, under the emceeing of Kim Chang-ho, the first Korean winner of the Golden Pickel, the Oscar of mountaineering.

After the screening of Mothered by Mountains at Ulju Vision: Women and Mountains, there will be an occasion for viewers to talk about the life of female mountaineers and climbers with Korean female climbers as well as Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Akita, protagonist of the film and climber from Nepal.

Workshop: Krystle Wright’s Adventure Photography
