Opening Performance

In harmony with this year’s Ulju Mountain Film Festival slogan “New Journey”, the opening ceremony will begin with a performance by singer KIM Yeon-woo, who is reaching beyond his limits as he attempts various musical styles. On Friday the 7th, this “vocal god” will open the 3rd UMFF with the beautiful Shinbulsan as his backdrop. The opening film The Dawn Wall will be screened after the performance.

KIM Yeon-woo

Closing Ceremony

The 3rd UMFF meets rock at its closing.

A super rock concert by Korea’s 3 best rock singers - Kim Kyung-ho, Kim Jong-seo, and Park Wan-gyu. Their performance does not signify the end of the festival, but the leap into the next one, and provide an arena for everyone to become one and have fun.

The performance will take place after the screening of Cloudboy.

KIM Kyung-ho
Kim Kyung-ho, one of the most beloved rock singers in Korea, debuted in 1994 with an album whose title song is ‘Last Prayer.’ Acknowledged with many prizes since the early stage of his life including the bronze award at KBS Youth Creative Song Contest with the song ‘Dream and Love’, KIM has led the popularization of rock music with his unparalleled voice and stardom.
KIM Jong-seo
Kim Jong-seo is a legendary rock singer in Korea and debuted as the lead vocalist of the band Sinawi. With his many beloved songs such as ‘Beautiful Binding’ and ‘Winter Rain,’ he has received numerous awards including the Golden Disk Award at the Korean Image and Music Award.
PARK Wan-gyu
A rock vocalist Park Wan-gyu debuted as the lead singer of the band Boohwal in 1996 and is well known for his mega hit song ‘Love for a Thousand Years.’ He received a musical artist award in 2012 at the 39th Korea Broadcasting Prizes.
