Wetter Stein Ridge is considered to be the spine of the German Alps. The range runs across aiguille by nearly 70 kilometers including the highest peak, Zugspitze. There are also countless untrodden rocks risky to climb. Michi Wohlleben, a German climber who climbed the north face of the Eiger at 17, makes a plan and sets up a goal to run the entire Wetter Stein Ridge without a break. Performance power, endurance, willpower and concentration are all he needs to run the crumbling rocks and aiguille above 7,000 meters in altitude. Michi Wolleben thinks that all the difficulties he’s having in such a long time to train himself are what the mountains demand. (LEE Young-jun)
