Ali goes to fix his sister Zahra’s shoes but loses them. Knowing that their parents can’t afford to buy new shoes, these young children decide to share the brother’s one pair of sneakers. When Zahra comes back from her morning class, Ali goes to his afternoon class. In order to swap shoes on time and not to be late for the brother’s class, they run every day. One day, Ali learns that there is a footrace to be held in the village and the third prize is a pair of sneakers. He decides to participate. Will Zahra get a new pair of shoes? Set on a poor village in Iran, this film leads the audience to heaven with the hearts and eyes of the children that are so innocent and pure. (KIM Seung-kyung)
