There are the Faroe Islands in between Iceland and Scotland in the north of the Atlantic. About 48 thousand descendants of the Vikings dwell on the islands. They have lived hunting and eating whales and marine birds for generations, but they are facing a big crisis now. It is not even because of the attacks from environmentalists who are against whale hunting. They are gradually becoming short of food due to sea pollution. The film is a documentary about the echo crisis at one of the cleanest places on the earth. It is even shocking when pieces of plastic are found in the stomach of puffins. The Faroe Islands have a very beautiful landscape. Probably the entire mankind shares the responsibility to preserve the community. (KIM Hyung-seok)
