PROGRAM

UMFF Project - Uljumentary 2020

UMFF Project is made up of 2 programs: Ulju Summit, a program with professional production support, and Uljumentary, a program supporting layman production of documentary films.
Ulju Summit was started in 2015 to revitalize mountain film production within Korea. The final results are screened for the first time at UMFF each year. This year Ulju Summit will present as world premieres the three features. There are Talitha kum, Plants Know No Nation, A Hiding Mountain and Sinsi.
Uljumentary is a compound word bringing 'Ulju' and 'documentary' together, referring to a media education program created by UMFF and Ulsan Community Media Center to provide production education and support. Four shorts to be screened in this year’s Uljumentary were created with the help of mentors, with topics taken from within Ulju.
